M5 Magnesium Anode for Electric Boiler
The anode (or cathode) is an electrode made of magnesium alloy, used in electric boilers for heating water.
This anode is mounted near the heating element of the boiler and has the role of attracting most of the scale from the water when it is subjected to the heating process. This reduces limescale build-up and prevents damage to both the heating element and the heating pot.
Thus, this cathode contributes to extending the life of the water heating elements in the boiler and supports a faster heating at the time of use.
A piece of threaded rod with a diameter of 6mm is mounted on the anode, which can be mounted by screwing on the resistance or inside the boiler, depending on the possibility of mounting.
This is useful for any boiler or water heater, whether it is used in domestic or industrial environments.
It is also suitable for mounting next to any resistance (water heating element) to protect the resistance and improve efficiency.
